NewzAlert Composer Server

NewzAlert Composer Server is server based software which communicates with the NewzAlert Composer client program. Using the Server component gives you additional features which are not available when publishing via FTP to a static RSS file :
Synchronize feeds with server
Publish only the changed topics
Multiple users posting to the same feed
Merge automated content with manual content

To be as portable as possible, the Server component is written in PHP and uses a MySQL database to store data. The relevant versions of PHP and MySQL are available for at least the following operating systems and web servers :
FreeBSD Unix
Linux
Microsoft Windows
Apache web server
Microsoft IIS

By using the Server component in conjunction with NewzAlert Composer (client) you maintain more control over your RSS feeds at the topic level. Use of the Server component also allows multiple users to post to the same RSS feed.

NewzAlert Composer Server is trialware and may be used freely for a trial period to determine whether it is the right solution for you. If you decide to continue using NewzAlert Composer Server after the trial period, then you need to purchase a license from Castle software.

Please note that the trial period is date based, so the actual amount of time will vary depending on what time of the month you download the trial version. If the trial version expires too quickly, please contact us and we will issue a new trial version to you.

NOTE : The client version of NewzAlert Composer is a standalone product which can function completely in FTP mode without the use of this server component.
